[Mobile Internet] Like Telkomsel Flash, INDOSAT launched “ISAT Eco”

Since 1.5 GB Volume Based I’ve subscribed limited for 3 months “low rate” promotion.
And as well justifying 1.5 GB is pretty much againts my requirement.
Choosing INDOSAT Eco should fits what I need (POP3, SSH, Telnet, bit browsing).

ISAT Eco is Unlimited Product with speed of 256 Kbps till 2GB of volume achieved.
Exceeding this defined quota the speed will be adjusted to 64 kbps.
Not bad, 2 GB still pretty much quota I need to spent 
.
Now I don’t have to worry for quota over limit & pay for that over usage.
Though I believed, I even couldn’t spent this 2GB in a month
All I need to pay is Rp. 100.000 or with Tax will be Rp 110.000 (USD 110).
The Experience…
Even sometimes my bandwidth meter shows that it’s not really 256 kbps strictly allocated but burst a bit higher.
This just my test this morning [Sept, 15] I believe BTS-BSC-MSC in idle capacity due to everybody in a meeting or meet they boss for reports.

What the highest result of bandwidth test that you ever test? Because I use flash unlimited and that make me so dissapointed never pass 160 kbs.

Hi Tazz,
1.5 Mbps International & Local with Edge & 3.5 G signal.
As far as I read, once the quota of usage reached 2 GB the speed will be limited to 64 Kbps.
I’m pretty sure, I won’t reach this since my usage is non office hours.

compani telco dah mulai nyodok bidang internet tuh, kayanya ujung2nya sama-sama jualan internet deh. mungkin medianya yang beda2, tp kl dah getu diajak kerjasama aja kali, dari pada saingan sampe berdarah-darah ngono.

Lebih bagus lagi ISP & Telco gandeng (merger, acquisition, strategic alliance, dsb) untuk menguatkan & survey lebih lama serta yang pasti saling mendukung satu sama lain.
Telco > infrastructure OK
ISP > IP Technology dah OK
Convergency > NGN ..

Walah itu speed cuman di awal2 aja… Saya dulu jg segitu… bisa dapet di atas 1Mbps. Saya abis2in buat download, eeh begitu 3GB tembus, jadi 64kbps.. lelet abissssss. Bulan depannya baru reset, tapi ke 256kbps. Akhir2 ini jadi 160kbps.. hiks..
Kalo speed masih bertahan segitu, usahakan jangan lewat 2GB / 3GB, karena langsung terkunci 64Kbps, terus bulan depannya jadi 256kbps dan ga bisa kenceng lagi.. Kalo saya malah dapetnya 160 kbps.. hiks… dah gitu suka pake bengong. cuman Subuh2 aja yang lancar.
